India added 1,918 MW corporate renewable capacity in Q2 2024, down 38% QOQ. The additions comprised 51% of the total renewable capacity addition in the quarter. With this, total corporate renewable capacity in the country is estimated at 39,716 MW.
Key developments from the quarter:
- Prices have bottomed out across solar value chain
- PPA tariffs across OA and rooftop solar segments remain stable
- Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu adopt Green Open Access Rules
- Delhi and Uttarakhand adopt RPO targets in line with MOP recommendations
- GDAM trading volume of corporate consumers continues to rise
