Total rooftop solar capacity is estimated to have reached 11,628 MW by end of December 2022. Total new installation capacity in the year is estimated at 2,640 MW, a 20% increase over previous year despite higher installation cost and module availability constraints. Key highlights of the year include robust growth in industrial and residential segments, falling OPEX model share and spike in installation costs.
