India Corporate Renewable Brief | Q1 2022


 

Total corporate renewable power capacity increased by 1,394 MW in Q1 2022 to reach 21,977 MW by 31 March 2022. Capacity addition in the quarter was split 67:4:29 amongst OA solar, wind and rooftop solar, with total capacity estimated to have reached 6,751 MW, 7,759 MW and 7,467 MW respectively.

Installation activity gathered pace 134% QOQ due to commissioning of projects delayed by Covid and implementation of BCD from April 2022.
