Corporate consumers have access to multiple avenues to procure renewable power. Availability of various alternative procurement routes and business models has compounded the issue of consumer’s lack of awareness regarding industry best practices. Many international frameworks including RE 100, CDP, Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) and GHG Protocol seek to assist corporates in measuring and reporting carbon emissions and/ or increasing renewable power penetration.
