India Solar Map 2020 is an infographic report that provides a state-wise break-up of utility scale solar commissioned and pipeline capacity. It also shows other pertinent details like annual capacity addition, trends in tender issuance, leading market players and India’s solar power penetration.

Total utility scale solar commissioned capacity reached 34,197 MW on 31 December 2020. Capacity addition in 2020 shrunk on account of Coronavirus-induced disruption in project execution. Only 2,582 MW of solar capacity was added in the year, down 65% from 7,474 MW in 2019. Total project pipeline stood at 46,246 MW on 31 December 2020.
