Despite need for more dispatchable power and strong techno-economic advantage over thermal power, renewable power tenders with storage backed solutions have received muted response from DISCOMs so far. However, round-the-clock (RTC) renewable power is set to see a boom in the coming years due to faster growth in peak power demand and increasing RPO trajectory.
